When is Eid al-Adha?
Eid al-Adha falls on the 10th of Dhu al-Hijjah, the 12th month of the Hijri calendar, the day after the Day of Arafah and at the conclusion of Hajj. It begins with the Eid prayer, followed by the udhiyah (sacrifice) commemorating the example of Prophet Ibrahim. The festival continues with three days of Tashreeq.
